Dr. Shanda Novak
Dr. Novak graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In addition to her Palmer training, she spent two years studying under a well respected chiropractor who specializes in evaluating and adjusting extremities. Also during her time at Palmer, Dr. Novak spent time serving the people of Fiji. Dr. Novak and her family recently moved to Nashville from southeast Virginia, where she practiced in the town of Lebanon.
Born and raised on a farm in Iowa, Dr. Novak earned an Associate's degree from Iowa Lakes Community College and received a Bachelor's degree from Mount Mercy College. During her college experience she played basketball and rugby competitively. Dr. Novak loves spending time with her family, traveling and being out doors.
Dr. Novak is Webster certified, a specific technique that aligns a woman's pelvis for optimal positioning during pregnancy. Dr. Novak believes that everyone, no matter their age or occupation, should have their spine and extremities checked. She believes in the importance of approaching health and wellness holistically through chiropractic care, proper nutrition and regular exercise in order to maintain performance and longevity. Dr. Novak is determined to help her patients find the root of their health problems while educating them on how the human body functions and ways to maintain optimal health.
